The Red Notice trailer: What to expect from the extravaganza?

What if Deadpool and Wonder Woman were criminals instead of superheroes? Red Notice, the newest Netflix original, combines a brilliant ensemble with thrilling action to please viewers. Rawson Marshall Thurber, who previously collaborated with The Rock on films like Central Intelligence and Skyscraper, wrote and directed the thriller. The first trailer for Red Notice, Netflix’s next major action movie, has been released.

It showcases Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s shenanigans as the FBI’s top profiler. He enlists the aid of another renowned art thief (Reynolds, in full sarcasm mode), who actually knows about heists, to catch the world’s most notorious art thief (Gal Gadot).

What is the story?

According to the red notice trailer, it appears that Johnson’s Agent John Hartley captures Reynolds’ character pretty quickly and early in the movie. Nolan Boot (Reynolds) is the world’s best art thief, or so they say. He can help catch the bigger fish, requiring the two to team together in order to apprehend Gadot’s character, “The Bishop.”

“I’ve been tracking your scores for a while now… Every city, every heist,” Hartley says in a voiceover as the trailer begins. “Now that you’ve been tagged with red notices, you’ve become the world’s most wanted criminals, and I’m the only one who can bring you in.”

Nolan is dubbed “the world’s most wanted art thief.” That’s also sort of a story-line of Hobbs & Shaw. Both Ryan Reynolds and Dwayne Johnson appear in the action flick. Gadot is also a Fast and Furious movie member, which makes this extra interesting.

Netflix and big blockbusters

Red Notice is indeed one of Netflix’s pet projects to expand its slate of original Hollywood blockbusters. The streaming service allegedly spent $150 million for such a big-budget heist movie. Given this trailer, We don’t really doubt it.

Red Notice appears to be one heck of an undertaking that requires some of Hollywood’s finest actors. Studios would jump for a cast like Ryan Reynolds, Dwayne Johnson, and Gal Gadot. Particularly in a movie that looks so slick and engaging.

Red Notice will also include a lot of world-travelling action and black-tie soirees. It will also have ample skyscraper races, vehicle chases, and a lot of humorous jokes. Reynolds is fresh off the successful run of his sci-fi film, Free Guy. While Johnson made his first appearance in Disney’s Jungle Cruise earlier in summer.
