Emmy Awards 2021: Did your favorite shows take the sweep?

The Creative Arts Emmys kicked off this weekend with three award ceremonies all over Saturday and Sunday. It honors outstanding technical and artistic accomplishments in a variety of television program genres. Including guest performance in terms of regular shows and exceptional work in the motion graphics, reality, and series of documentaries subgroups.

The Creative Arts ceremonies, hosted in a canopy on the LA Televised events platform in downtown Los Angeles on September 11 and 12. It is split into three presentations over two days. The creative and technical accomplishments were awarded on Saturday evening. These honor creators in cinematography, costuming, editing, hair styling, and set design.

Queen's Gambit Emmy awards 2021

The third and last of three 2021 Creative Arts Emmy Awards presentations is now over. Netflix’s The Queen’s Gambit paves the charge with nine awards heading into next weekend’s Prime-time Emmys. The platform also destroyed the network/platform category, winning 34 awards throughout two events. Both on Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon and evening. Subsequently, Disney+ comes in second with 13, followed by the joint HBO/HBO Max with 10, including the sister streamer’s first-ever Emmy. NBC and Apple TV+ both have seven, while VH1 has five.

Having seven victories each, Disney+’s The Mandalorian and NBC’s Saturday Night Live are on the second. Netflix’s Love, Death & Robots with six awards follows them closely.RuPaul’s Drag Race on VH1 and The Crown on Netflix both feature four. Three wins apiece for Netflix’s Bo Burnham: Inside and David Attenborough: A Life on Our Planet, as well as Disney+’s WandaVision, Apple TV+’s Ted Lasso, and FX’s Pose.

With the announcement of the Creative Arts Emmys over the weekend, all attention is currently on the 2021 Prime-time Emmy awards event. These will take place on Sunday, September 19. Further, the 2021 Emmys live shows will return with a restricted crowd of candidates and their companions. The awards location is the Microsoft Theater in downtown Los Angeles.

On Sunday evening, the show will present awards for categories of best competition host, narrator, and documentary film-making, Additionally, semi-structured or unstructured reality program categories.

This year’s main categories are full of enormous productions. The excellent television series category looks especially fierce. In the running are Mare of Easttown, The Queen’s Gambit, I May Destroy You, The Underground Railroad, and WandaVision.
